This site is a call for action against some of the worst crimes against humanity ever committed.

The genocides of millions of men, women and children of several nations perpetrated by Turkey in the past and present are an offense to every decent person, of every civilized nation.

While the Turkish people continues denying the terrible crimes committed by its country it will remain a hostage of its own past, which encourages the crimes committed now.

Only when many people all over the world learn about the atrocities perpetrated by Turkey, its crimes will be recognized and further crimes will be prevented.

This site presents basic information about the atrocities, describes sources of detailed information about the crimes and creates ways for everyone to participate in this effort.

Your support to this cause is essential. Our silence would be a way to patronize crimes of unimaginable cruelty, which have been perpetrated continuously until present days.

  Unimaginable cruelty

When I first learned about the crimes committed by Turkey against millions of Armenians, Greeks, and other peoples, what most impressed me was their cruelty.

The Turks have never been satisfied in killing unprotected civilians. They need to torture them first. They need to enjoy their victim's suffering.

Invaders in Asia Minor, the Turks sowed only death and suffering where the Greek civilization had flourished for 2.000 years before their appearance.

In the words of Greek friends or a minister of the Brazilian government of Armenian descent, I see the same revolt for having their families killed with unimaginable cruelty.

What kind of hateful spirit makes a people torture defenseless women, children and even babies? That people and their crimes are the subject of this site.

Recent News

France to recognize the genocide of 1.5 million Armenians by Turkey.

It's the third European Union country, after Greece and Belgium, to recognize the genocide.

There's hope that other countries will also recognize the genocide and stop backing Turkey.

  Continued genocides

How revolting is the torture and slaughter of one person? Now, try hard to imagine what would be to see millions of persons of your country systematically massacred.

Between 1913 and 1922, one million Greeks were victims of genocides committed by the Turks. In 1915 and 1916, the Turks massacred one and a half million Armenians.

The genocides of the Greeks of Pontos and Asia Minor and the genocide of a great part of the Armenian population are only examples of what have been done by the Turks.

The genocides perpetrated by Turkey amount to millions of victims of several peoples, including Arabs, Armenians, Assyrians, Cypriots, Greeks, Kurds and Syrians.

Even after all its atrocities and genocides, Turkey was left untouched when it invaded Cyprus in 1974. Again, Turkey uses its policy of invasion, torture and massacres.

Right now, Turkey is once again engaged in its policy of genocide. The population of 18 million Kurds who live in Turkey and Iraq is a constant target of the Turkish hate.

Recent News

The sovereignty of four Greek islands, inhabited and part of Greece by virtue of the Treaty of Lausanne (1923) and the Treaty of Paris (1947), was challenged by Turkey.

Turkey's frequent provocations provide further proof of its expansionism and the total disregard for international law and international treaties.

  Total disregard for human rights

No government can be unaware that Turkey is often condemned by the most respectful human rights organizations such as Amnesty International.

The lack of knowledge about the Turkish atrocities have made possible for "democratic" governments to provide Turkey with political, economical and military support.

Not only the people of Cyprus, the Kurds and foreigners are affected by Turkey's total lack of respect for human rights. Its own people has its rights continually denied.

Torture, religious and political persecution, no freedom of expression, disappearances, virginity-tests for girls...
How can a democratic country support Turkey?

The Turkish belligerence means billions of dollars every year in weapons sales. It's not a coincidence that the US government is the closest ally of Turkey and the fact that Turkey is the best client of the US military industry.

Recent News

According to the The New York Times, the Clinton administration is aware of illicit oil trade taking place at the Iraq-Turkey border.

It is turning a "blind eye" since the illicit trade greatly benefits Turkey, which is considered a strong ally for the USA's policy.

  Outrageous acts of aggression

In 1974, Turkey invaded the Republic of Cyprus and still occupies 37% of the country. The Turkish invasion and its atrocities have been condemned by the United Nations.

200.000 Greek Cypriots became refugees in their own country. Murders, rapes and other atrocities committed by Turkish troops forced them to leave the occupied areas.

Turkey maintains 40.000 troops on the occupied areas of Cyprus. Turkey refuses to follow the United Nations resolutions and threatens to annex the occupied areas.

Proportionally, it's like 85 million Americans becoming refugees in the USA and an occupation force of 17 million soldiers controlling an area five times larger than Texas.

Turkish troops took as prisoners 1619 Greek Cypriots and Greeks, including women and children. Turkey insists that they must be considered dead without evidence.

Absurd and threatening claims over Greece's territory, daily invasions of Greece's territorial sea and airspace, continued atrocities in Cyprus and against the Kurds...

Turkey seems to need blood on its hands. Turkey seems to need to torture and kill in order to reaffirm itself as superior. Peace seems to be Turkey's worst enemy.

Recent News

Continued destruction of Cyprus' religious and cultural identity in the areas occupied by Turkey was denounced to the United Nations.

In a letter of protest, addressed to the UN Secretary General, the Cyprus Ambassador refers to further violations against churches in the occupied areas.
