We will make the simplest network in Simulator , which has 2 stations and a capacitor (= a storage depot) in a single loop.

Run Simulator
Press "S" and click on the screen. A station appears. Station comes attached with main and offline guideway.
Press "S" again and click on the right of the station . A second station appears.
Press "C" and click above the 2 stations . A capacitor appears.
Left click on the capacitor to select it. It turns red. You can drag it around wherever you want.
Hold down the [SHIFT] key and click on the left of the capacitor to turn it towards where you clicked.
Press "L" and click on the right edge of the guideway of the left station (denoted by green circle).
Click again on the left edge of the guideway of the right station (denoted by red circle).
A line starting from the left station connecting them appears.
Connect the right edge of the right station with the right edge of capacitor.
Finally connect the left edge of capacitor with the left edge of the left station.
Your simple network is ready.Select Action→Design Done to run a simulation on it.
