Installation - Running

Hermes Simulator is written in Java. You can execute it in windows and in other platforms as well. For windows follow the instructions below:

You must have the JRE (Java Runtime Environment) installed. Version 1.5 or higher is needed. This is provided by SUN. You can get it from here. The offline installation is recommended.

After downloading double click the setup file to install JRE 1.5 in your system.

To run Simulator double click on the "run.bat" file.

In order to have fast and smooth graphics it is recommended (but not necessary) to have an OpenGL combatible graphics card and the appropriate drivers installed.
