Sons C. Tomassi manufacture many kind of Weighbridges, from 60tn to 120tn at any dimensions. As this area of Weighing is of vital importance, Sons C. Tomassi take great care in the construction of their systems.

All mechanical weighbridges are based on the principle of "lever-arms". The platform is constructed of a number of metal-beams and a coating of concrete.

All of our mechanical weighbridges can be easily converted into electronic weighbridges. This can be simply achieved by fixing a special mechanism on the mechanical structure of the bridge, aiming to support the load cell.
This is then plugged into our Digital Weighing indicator giving simultaneously access to an extensive range of features such as gross, net, tare reading etc. A printer can also be connected in order to print customer names, time, date, and provide full printouts of lists etc.

One of our Weighbridges during building is shown below. It's 12m along and its width is 3m. The structure is entirely metallic, but it can also be converted easily to Electronic Weighbridge by using just one load cell, a junction box, a special mechanism on which the load cell is based, a weighing indicator and a printer.

Weighbridge during installation. It's a road vehicle Weighbridge, measuring 18m long and it is suitable for weighing trucks. These systems can also include traffic lights, gates and other optional features depending on the application.
