The Mac App Store is here!!

For those that have an idevice and they use Macintosh as their default OS then they won’t have any problems using this new store as it’s the same with the other apple’s stores family ( itunes store, app store, etc). The new mac app store requires Snow Leopard with the latest updates and an iTunes account. For those that own an idevice or using the me.com services they are fine, the others can create an iTunes account as described here.

It is very easy and simple to use like any other thing Apple gives to it’s customers. The only thing you have to do is to search for the application you like and just hit the download or buy button. Then, by a very nice way this app goes right in your dock and that’s it!!

Now, the mac app store remembers all the applications you have, so if you change your mac or format it you get your apps back again, by logging in to your account without having to purchase them again! (that’s cool).

The only thing, i have to say is that the store is small yet...but i believe that it will grow up very quickly! Until now, apple says that there are more than a thousand apps available.

I have downloaded some free apps just to check the procedure and everything worked just perfect!! I believe it’s very important to have a trusted source where you can search and get the applications you want! So i find the idea very nice and the software very useful for every Mac user.
